THE FOUR WISE MONKEYS
In this project I have chosen to create a series of my own interpretation of the old Japanese proverb of the three wise monkeys “ See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil” as well as the fourth lesser known monkey which represents “ Do no evil”. In this series i chose to interpret what it would look like if the words were flipped and took on a more sinister and insidious approach. I also wanted to challenge myself with experimenting with different techniques and mediums for each and every piece, with that I also connected every piece together with a red thread.
